Ivoine
Over the years, Ivoine has evolved from subject to collaborator. What began as spontaneous documentation has transformed into a disciplined practice of mutual understanding.
The dog's intuitive grasp of photographic timing eliminates the need for direction. She holds position with remarkable consistency, responding to the subtle shifts in light and composition that define each frame. This wordless communication forms the foundation of our working relationship.
The resulting images capture not performance, but presence. Ivoine's natural awareness of the camera's requirements has developed into an instinctive partnership that transcends the traditional photographer-subject dynamic.
This ongoing series documents the evolution of this collaboration—a study in non-verbal communication and shared creative process. The work stands as testament to the possibilities that emerge when technical precision meets intuitive understanding.
Each photograph represents a moment of perfect synchronization between artist and muse, where the boundaries between direction and instinct dissolve into pure creative expression. of Corinne’s images are produced by Mauro Monfrino Fine Art Lab in Torino. This picture has been created regarding my dilemma to decide wether I should live with only one or more whippets. Ivoine stands on a beautiful framed mirror. Guess which is her reflection?
It was a big adventure to realise this picture. I nearly fell on the whippet, with the camera in one hand and a heavy big strobe light in the other hand. Fortunately, I could find my balance in time. The whippet lies on traditional Italian cement tiles. «Cementine»
As most of Corinne’s Dog Art Work, this one is also done outdoors with a strobe light. It was important for the artist to do this shooting on a nicely clouded day.
I was sitting in my kitchen and thinking about my next photo shooting location … the red fridge gave me the answer. Technically, it was challenging as its red surface mirrored everything around it.
Ivoine the Whippet wanted to experience how it feels like to be a famous film star.
Ivoine, the whippet, follows fashion. Strips are in.

Kenzo the black cat was on this pear tree on bloom just a few seconds ago. So I thought I can climb it up too.
